ORIGAMI RAMEN BAR founder YUSUKE KURODA

 I grew up in Osaka, JAPAN.

By age six, I was already learning to cook with my grandmother.

Graduating from Tsuji Culinary Institute 

where I received a culinary arts degree 

and FUGU (blowfish) preparation license

He began working in Kyoto in his first Kaiseki restaurant at 19 years old.

After 8 years of culinary experience in Japan, he immigrated to Charleston, South Carolina to begin my American dream of sharing Japanese cuisine with a North American audience.

After working for 5years in sushi restaurants around the southeast I moved to Los Angeles in 2015 to begin working at the prestigious NOBU in Beverly Hills. 

In summer 2020, 

he opened his first restaurant ORIGAMI RAMEN BAR, 

in Phoenix, Arizona. 

ORIGAMI RAMEN BARオーナーシェフ黒田悠介氏は日本、大阪で育ちました。

 

6歳までに、祖母と一緒に料理する方法を学びました。TEC日調辻学園中之島校を卒業し、調理師免許ならびに

ふぐ取り扱い免許を取得しました。

彼は19歳で大阪の懐石料亭で働き始め、その後店舗拡大の為、HILTON HOTEL内の支店に勤務ののち、京都の有名割烹で伝統的な京懐石を学びました。

すっぽんを始めとする様々な日本独自の食材と日々向き合う事で

多様な日本の食文化を海外の人に伝えたいという思いが芽生えました。

日本で8年間の料理の経験を積んだ後、

 彼はサウスカロライナ州チャールストンに移住し、世界中の人々と日本料理を共有するという彼の夢の一歩を踏み出しました。

 

2015年にロサンゼルスに移り、ビバリーヒルズの有名なレストラン、NOBUで働き始めました。

 

2020年夏

彼は最初のレストランORIGAMI RAMEN BARをアリゾナ州フェニックスにオープンしました。

Store Policy 

Food Order Errors*

If you receive food that is different from your receipt, we sincerely apologize. Please call us or your third-party delivery company as soon as you notice that there was an error in your order or contact your third party delivery company. You may come to pick up the correct food item.

  • For credit card payments, you will be refunded the sales price amount associated with the error and recharged for the new items price.

  • For cash payments, you will be asked to pay the difference of the balance if the new food has a greater value than the food received in error. In the same way, you will receive the difference of the balance back as credit for the new item if less than the food received in error. In some cases, we may offer you a store credit.

Your order will be priority if you come to pick it up. In all cases, please return the food order in the original container(s)* to our host.

Food Order Incomplete*

In the rare occasion that you do not receive food that is on your receipt, we will make it up to you. Please call us or your third-party delivery service as soon as you notice that any food items were not received in your order. You may cancel the missed food before we prepare it without any question, and we will refund the amount to a credit card or we will refund you with a store credit. No cash refunds.

Please note: we do provide courtesy items such as disposable silverware, chopsticks, etc. when requested for free. If we mistakenly omit a free courtesy item you are welcome to let us know so we may address the issue with our staff, however, we cannot provide discounts, refunds or store credit.

Food Dissatisfaction*

We cook our food fresh to order with only the finest and freshest ingredients. We take great care and pride in all of the dishes we make. Refunds and/or replacement food are available upon request for orders in which the food is wrong, omitted and other similar circumstances. Refunds are not typically provided for food that a guest simply does not like
